Andy Naylor's comments were spot-on about the Albion following Dick Knight's appearance on the Southern Counties Radio phone-in and the rantings of the lynch mob who would have Martin Hinshelwood removed (The Argus, September 16).

The buck stops with the chairman, despite his fantastic efforts over the past few seasons.

As Andy said, it is ludicrous no decisions during the summer break could be taken during Dick's absence, however harrowing the domestic circumstances.

I have emailed the club with the suggestion that a director of football (someone like Peter Taylor) should be sought to support the management, not replace them.

I am still waiting for an acknowledgement but, if Dick is answering all comments personally, don't hold your breath. The word is "delegation", Dick.
