While the Earth Summit is in progress in Johannesburg, perhaps someone can tell us why Africa is poor?
Is it: Corruption, lack of initiative, little interest in technology, lack of resources, education, literacy, numeracy, leadership and organisation, exploitation, mired in history or tradition? Or what?
