Anyone paying £75 an hour for a plumber or builder would be "plumb loco" (Letters, June 7).
It is the getting of a parking waiver to do each job that would prevent the likes of people who make such charges adding another £75 before starting the job because they had to spend time obtaining a parking waiver.
It may help to know the name of a good plumber can be obtained from the Institute of Plumbing - call 01708 472791.
