I was admitted recently to the Royal Sussex County Hospital as an emergency, following an unnecessary accident.

This was the first time I had been an inpatient since the inception of the NHS so I had much to observe.

With respect, I suggest the Secretary of State for Health should go as I did but without the pain, pans and pills.

He would have a marvellous opportunity to see how results are achieved.

My thanks to the RSCH staff for your skills, expertise, judgement and nursing and to Craven Vale Resource Centre and the aftercare team for their kindness and support.

May the sun shine on you all.
