Working with everyone from David Bowie to Steve Reich, jazz guitarist Metheny has gathered 14 Grammy awards and created a sound grounded deeply in melody, swing and blues.
He formed the legendary Pat Metheny Group in 1977 with keyboard virtuoso Lyle Mays, sparking one of the most prolific collaborations in modern jazz.
