Albion are to honour the promise of improved contracts for some of their championship winners.
Departed manager Peter Taylor pledged fresh deals to players involved in the Seagulls' rise from the Third Division to the First.
Chairman Dick Knight has told them the offers will be honoured, despite Taylor's resignation.
Knight held individual talks with members of the squad during Albion's mini break in Marbella, Spain.
First team regulars such as Richard Carpenter and Paul Watson, with a year left on existing contracts, will be rewarded with revised terms. Nathan Jones has signed a new two-year deal offered before Taylor left.
Simon Morgan was expected to confirm his playing retirement today. The 35-year-old revealed exclusively to the Argus last month that he struggled through the campaign with right knee trouble.
