Crawley Town's manager has continued his squad shake-up by axing top-scorer Rob Collins.

The young marksman has netted 19 goals this season and was being linked with a number of Nationwide League clubs at one stage.

But Smith, who has left Collins on the substitutes' bench in recent weeks, has now released the striker as part of his summer clearout.

Former Exeter striker Warren Waugh has also been axed to follow the news last week that Steve Restarick, Dave Harlow, Jimmy Dack and John Ugbah would be leaving.

However, Ben Judge has agreed to another one-year contract with Crawley.

Worthing won the Brighton Charity Cup after an amazing 3-2 win over Peacehaven at Woodside Road last night.

The County Leaguers led through Tom Pattenden's first class header until the 89th minute mark when Mark Knee levelled from close range.

In the five minutes of stoppage time Cameron Johnson restored Peacehaven's lead with a fabulous angled volley only for Paul Kennett to equalise in stunning style direct from the centre spot.

There was still time for Gavin Jones to win it for Rebels with a thunderous left foot volley.

In the final County League division one game of the season, champions Burgess Hill lost 2-0 at home to runners-up Ringmer.

Damion Dobbyn opened the scoring on 82 minutes and Tony Holden netted the second.

St Leonards club captain Liam Barham has left the club to pursue a football coaching career in America.

Barham took up the captaincy at The Firs after manager Glyn White signed him in December last year from Eastbourne Borough.

The combative midfielder was instumental in helping Saints beat the drop in the Dr Martens eastern division this season.
