Alice Statham complained about the lack of cover at the bus stops in St James's Street, Brighton (Letters, May 2).
I wonder, too, which genius is responsible for the new Edwardian-style bus stops gracing the Kemp Town seafront.
Why do they have six-inch wide sides? I would like to see the designer cowering out of the wind and rain when they are howling straight off the Channel and one is trying to keep dry.
