Rebecca Gray should have the intelligence to know why many men like to wear socks with sandals (The Argus, May 1).
Firstly, it's much more comfortable than without socks, as the straps don't cut into your skin and, secondly, our weather is seldom hot enough to have bare feet in sandals.
Obvious, really.
