There should be a test to show whether or not a driver has been smoking cannabis within the previous six hours, similar to the Breathalyzer.
Cannabis stays in the blood for up to a month but your ability to drive is, I think, affected for only six hours.
Testing the blood is a lengthy process and not convenient. On-the-spot urine testing stations might be a good idea.
