Last Tuesday, the council sent men down Freshbrook Road, Lancing, to paint yellow lines and white give-way markings (on the wrong side of the road, I might add).
Then, on Thursday, they resurfaced the whole road. Bye bye, yellow lines. Bye bye, give-way markings.
Who is paying for this? We are, of course.
No wonder council tax rose so much this year. Someone in the department that sorts this work out wants shooting.
