After reading Wednesday's news about Bruce's fate, I was one of the many people who emailed Sussex Police in the hope they might, at least, delay the process until they had considered other possible solutions.
Having read the news on Thursday, I am utterly horrified.
I cannot believe this was their only possible solution and they have completely ignored the wishes of the public.
