I find it encouraging that my extortionate council tax is put to good use by the police (Friday, April 5).
It took only seven police and four vehicles to arrest a poor dog only doing what he was supposed to do, protect his home and family.
I wonder if the response would have been so good had the owner had his car stolen or house broken into.
