Goodbye to our Queen Mum.
It was a great privilege to be invited to the Queen Mother's 100th birthday celebrations two years ago.
My good friend Wendy and I had a wonderful day with this grand old lady, who was already very frail. She was marvellous throughout the day.
The Argus will, undoubtedly, get many letters from servicemen and women like myself who served under The Queen Mother's husband and her daughter The Queen.
I am looking forward to seeing hundreds of tributes to this great
lady who will be sadly missed.
