I would like to say how wonderful the two That's Entertainment films are, with their colour, talent and music, happy-go-lucky scenes and absence of violence.
No wonder the world is as it is - there is no such happiness now.
I met many of the stars in those films and have their autographs and pictures, including a letter from Bing Crosby signed and sent on Christmas Eve 1937.
Even the Marx Brothers went to my mother's wedding.
I remember Irving Berlin, Fred Astaire and Robert Taylor - all his fans shouted "Arlington Brugh, we love you", for that was his real name.
I was getting the autograph of Don Ameche. I am almost 79 and can remember all this vividly.
The music and songs will live forever, not like the present so-called songs.
I am pleased I lived in those days and have my memories.
