So Brighton and Hove is bidding for the European Capital of Culture? I don't think so.
Brighton and Hove City Council should concentrate on the derelict sites that have been a disgrace for the past 30 or 40 years, including the bottom of West Street, the West Pier, Peter Pan's Playground, Black Rock and Brighton station.
The council has done nothing but argue with the conservationists and a few opponents. People in the city are fed up with all these objections every time anything needs developing.
It is about time it was stopped. I was born and bred in Brighton, was in business for 30 years and always had problems with objections too.
