More than 130 fun runners from across Britain turned out in brilliant Good Friday sunshine to compete in a five-mile race.
The event, organised by the Seaford and Newhaven Round Table, drew runners from as far afield as Ireland, Nottingham and Kent.
They set off at 11am from Cash Bases in New Road, Newhaven, before taking in some fine scenery around South Heighton and Denton.
Up to 20 volunteers helped ensure the run, held in association with Seaford and Newhaven Sea Cadets, passed smoothly.
Organisers said hundreds of pounds will have been raised for charity sponsorship.
Race director Bill Sholl said: "It was an undulating route, which took in some fine scenery in what turned out to be beautiful weather."
