Meanwhile, East Grinstead had a mixed weekend as they followed a 3-0 defeat by Havant on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Bromley on Sunday.
The result leaves Grinstead in third place, 12 points adrift of the top two and, more significantly for the club, mathematically safe from relegation.
Manger Janina Jedamzik said: "Although it's a little disappointing not to be able to finish second anymore, it was always the primary aim to avoid relegation given what happened last season and we've done that now."
Grinstead were forced to reshuffle on Saturday without skipper Jon Perriss and the injured Paul Turk, and they never found their rhythm in the defeat.
Grinstead were much more purposeful on Sunday as they got the result that mattered.
Perriss returned with a fine game at the back while Ian Pattison was dangerous going forward and won the corners from which Grinstead scored. Both goals were from training ground moves, the first a neat deflection by Phil Coote and the second by Ben Payne after a switch right.
