I looked forward to collecting my copy of The Argus (March 1), being eager to see what the development of Brighton's West Pier would look like.
I remembered an artist's impression of another seafront view (The Argus, January 26, 1998). It was the Aquarium Terraces development, with people strolling and sitting outside cafes and bars and not a "To let" sign in sight. In fact, it looked good.
Reprinting the picture would remind planners of what they approved.
