Seven people were arrested in dawn raids on suspected drug pushers.
Fifty rocks of crack cocaine with a street value of £1,500, cannabis and an imitation firearm were seized when police swooped on two addresses in Brighton.
Five people have been charged with possession and intent to supply drugs.
Dog teams were called in when a rottweiler, pitbull and Staffordshire terrier were found inside a house in Birdham Road, Moulsecoomb.
Further arrests were made when the squad of 16 officers raided a property in Craven Road, Whitehawk.
