Chichester moved up three places in the Southern Premier after a 3-1 victory at home to Eastcote.

The first half display was one of Chi's best this season. The forward line of Oli Lane-Smith, Adam Beer and Andy Savory had the Eastcote defence in trouble from the start.

Chances were created from all angles before a penalty corner after ten minutes produced a superb finish from Pete Turner.

This goal lifted the confidence of the side and Sam Beer in particular began to run the midfield. When Henry Stremes played a through ball to Beer his strong run from left wing was finished with a rasping shot from the top of the D.

Better was to come. A training ground move saw the ball switched across the back to Turner at right half. His 70 yard aerial pass found Adam Beer on the left and his strong run and shot was celebrated in style.

The second half was bound to be more difficult as Eastcote came back into the game. A few chances were created but the battle was in the midfield and Stremes, Neil Pendle and Rob Pywell had no intention of letting the result slip.

Eastcote managed a consolation goal during the spell Pendle was suspended for breaking down play.
