Ih ave just found time to read This Is Christmas and congratulate The Argus on providing such a comprehensive guide.
However, I am disappointed the title is not strictly accurate and that there is no mention anywhere of the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas is not just about shopping, giving and receiving presents and eating and drinking. It celebrates the birth of a baby 2,000 years ago because God so loved us he sent his son Jesus to be our Saviour. We give presents at this time to show our love for each other. If there had been no first Christmas, we should not be celebrating now.
