Police are appealing for witnesses after a couple dressed in brightly coloured scarves and hats robbed an off-licence.
The man and woman in their 30s went into Mulberry Wines in Bristol Road, Brighton, at about 8.50pm on Friday and threatened staff.
Police declined to reveal the type of weapon used or the amount of cash the couple took.
The man was 6ft tall and thin. He wore a dark jacket and green combat trousers.
The women was 5ft 5in tall with blue eyes and wore a black bomber jacket.
