A Sussex landowner has offered a £1,000 reward after thieves stole one of his racing cars.
The hand-made Gravity Racing Car, a go-cart that cost £2,000 to build, was taken from The Earl of March's Goodwood estate near Chichester.
The GRC, a popular attraction at the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed, is painted green and made from a steel box frame with aluminium sheeting.
Ian Carter, spokesman for the Earl, said: "This will be better known to people as a go-cart or soapbox as it doesn't have an engine - just steering and brakes.
"The Earl started the downhill racing as part of the Festival of Speed two years ago.
"The car is of great sentimental value to him and that's why he is prepared to offer the reward."
The Earl has also offered free tickets to a Goodwood show for information leading to a successful prosecution and the return of the vehicle.
A children's Yamaha quad bike, belonging to a farmer on the estate, was also stolen.
