GH Braysher (Letters, November 24) was concerned his or her grandson is to read a book concerning an eight-year-old girl being raped.
I am studying for my GCSEs and feel strongly teenagers should be able to read anything and everything because it shows them what goes on in the real world.
You can't change the fact that children are raped and incest takes place, much as I would like to. That's life.
