New Redhill boss Bill Tucker has unearthed a goal machine in Kent-based Glen Barlow.

The former Hartley Wintney and Sheppey frontman scored twice in the 3-2 win at Southwick to take his tally to four in two games. He formed an effective strike partnership with Ben Burns, signed on Friday from East Grinstead.

Paul McCarthy put Redhill in front but Jack Dineen's crisp strike rallied Southwick.

Barlow then took over with his brace, although Mark Sheriff gave the hosts hope with a goal on his return from suspension.

Hailsham gave new boss Joe Stevens a boost with a scrappy 1-0 home win over Sidlesham. Wes Tate sent Martin Richardson clear to expertly clip the ball over the goalkeeper a minute from time.

Whitehawk drew 3-3 with Littlehampton in another thriller at East Brighton Park. Hawks boss Ian Chapman joked: "I can't understand why we don't get 5,000 here to watch us."

There was plenty of entertainment as Derren Woods and Steve Davies put counter-attacking Marigolds two-up by the break.

Gareth Hughes replied from the rebound off a brilliant save by Duncan Green, who then inexplicably helped a tame Dean Venton cross into his own net.

Davies restored Littlehampton's lead from a quickly-taken corner, Hughes headed another Hawks equaliser and there was still time for Marigolds to claim they had forced a winner in a late scramble.

Boss Andy Taylor said: "We were convinced the ball had gone over the line."

Rob Josephs cut inside and fired a shot across the goalkeeper to send Arundel on the way to a 2-0 home win over Eastbourne United.

Jimmy Hassler hit the second after a strong run by Jason Wimbleton.

Selsey boss Danny Hinshelwood saw his side ease past Saltdean 4-0, then confirmed he had applied for the manager's job at Worthing.

Ian Ford (2) and Derek Chester were on target before a John Bines free-kick rounded things off.
