During a recent business trip to Lewes, my colleagues and I went for a drink in the hotel bar directly opposite the court where the Sarah Payne murder trial is taking place.
We found it very disturbing to witness Sarah's mother and a friend being chased along the street by a pack of rowdy photographers as they left the court.
We were shocked by the yobbish behaviour of the members of the Press who were drinking in the bar.
They openly discussed details of the evidence revealed that day and laughed and joked about the case and the events that followed.
While fully appreciating the Press have a job to do, we feel they should respect the feelings of the people involved and behave themselves in front of the general public.
The parents have gone through enough torment already without suffering abuse and disrespect at the hands of these ill-mannered yobs.
