Don Black really should engage his brain before using dubious facts to support his arguments against a stadium at Falmer (Letters, November 12).

Assuming the figure of the Albion's wage bill being 127 per cent of their income is correct - which I find very hard to believe - surely this shows the need to build a bigger stadium.

This would increase the club's income, thanks to bigger crowds, while the wage bill would remain more or less the same.

I can only thank Mr Black for providing such a positive argument for a new stadium.

Maybe the other anti-stadium protestors will now stop inventing fictitious reasons against the stadium and allow the democratic will of the majority to prevail.
