As a Seagulls supporter of more than 43 years, I would like to know what Don Black has against the Albion with the survey he quoted about Brighton being in the top six for bad housekeeping.

He stated the Albion spend 127 per cent of their income on wage bills. This is not true.

It cost the club in the region of £25,000 just to put on a match at Withdean.

All the other clubs he mentioned (QPR, Fulham, York City, Brentford and Blackburn Rovers) have their own stadiums and some are in the process of upgrading to more modern stadiums.

The Albion, with a forward-thinking board, a good manager and team spirit, have come a long way since the dark days of the last board of so-called directors and, with a stadium of their own, can progress further.

Perhaps Mr Black would like to say where he would like a stadium built with the restrictions laid down by the FA and League within seven miles of the city centre?

Shoreham? Unsuitable road links. Waterhall? Unsuitable rail links and water table. Railway station? Again, road links - absolute chaos.

So what is your agenda, Mr Black? Have you relatives in Falmer? Do you hate football? Are you jumping on the Nimby bandwagon? Get a life and let the rest of us enjoy ours.
