Organising a National Lottery syndicate is never easy.

Keeping track of payments, checking a long list of lines every week and remembering to buy tickets when they are due for renewal puts a deal of strain on the person in charge.

Now British software publisher GSP has developed a package called The National Lottery Syndicate Manager to take the stress out of syndicates and allow users to enjoy the anticipation instead of agonising over the workload.

The software is endorsed by the National Lottery organisers, Camelot.

The programme requires information to be input about every syndicate member.

It then sets about picking numbers. The random number generator takes away the squabbles about the numbers chosen, or you can choose proven "lucky" numbers from the results analysis tool which records how frequently each colour and ball have emerged from the draws.

The software reminds you when tickets are due for renewal and even delivers a printable reminder that can be pinned on to a notice board.

In addition, it keeps track of individual syndicate member's payments and tells you who exactly to chase for money.

As with all management software systems there are one or two minor glitches but, providing the membership data is entered accurately, this application does seem to be exceptionally bug-free.

There are no guarantees of a giant win with The National Lottery Syndicate Manager, but it will make sure that even the smallest win is recognised and collected.

Each time a National Lottery draw takes place, simply enter the six main numbers and the bonus ball into the programme and it will automatically check through all the syndicate lines to match any winning combinations.
