Mitchell Fraser had a day he will never forget when he met his Leeds heroes before watching them beat Tottenham in the Premiership at Elland Road.

The five-year-old from Lancing, a pupil at Willows, also predicted the match-winner, his favourite player Harry Kewell.

His mum Debbie said: "Mitch adored it all and the players were brilliant with him. Mark Viduka gave him some sweets and Rio Ferdinand played high-fives with him in the tunnel. Harry, along with all the players formed a queue to sign a ball he had. He got goalkeeper Nigel Martyn to sign it and then said 'thanks Nigel, but my favourite player is Harry Kewell'. Nigel just laughed. He had Nigel in hysterics in the kickabout on the field.

"Mitch took a penalty and the ball just about reached the line, so Nigel placed the ball on the six-yard line for him to have another go. But Mitch wasn't having it and told him 'this isn't the right place for a penalty' and put in on the spot.

"Everyone at Leeds made it a really special day for Mitch. He won't forget it.

"I felt a bit for our 18-year-old son Chris, who is a Spurs fan. He was sitting with us among all the Leeds supporters, but he quietly enjoyed it when Spurs went into the lead."

The visit followed Mitch's debut for Lancing Rangers against Worthing United which left him with a black eye as his side won 3-2.
