Phil Mills's account of the tragedy of John Smith (The Argus, October 23) was harrowing, upsetting and deeply moving - a powerful piece of writing.
Perhaps The Argus or its readers could start a commemorative fund to help other children, to give to John's school or to place a landmark so this little boy and his suffering are never forgotten.
