A knifepoint robber threatened a member of staff at a hospital restaurant in Brighton.
He asked for a coffee at the Pavilion food court at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
When the 23-year-old waitress asked for money he produced a knife and demanded the contents of the till.
The man, 6ft tall and in his mid-20s with a pitted face and light brown short hair, fled empty-handed.
