A Storrington man has been charged with drug smuggling offences following a record £32 million seizure of cocaine.
Martin John Lake, 60, from Storrington, West Sussex, is one of four men - three Britons and a Nigerian - to face charges over the seizure.
They were arrested after a 500kg haul - the largest ever to be smuggled into the UK by air - was recovered at Southend Airport in Essex.
A Customs spokesman said another man had been released.
The men were arrested on Tuesday night shortly after a Boeing 707 jet arrived from Jamaica via the Canary Islands.
Lake is charged along with Christopher Barrett-Jolly, 54, from Wellington, Somerset and his brother-in-law Peter Carine, 49, from Hensall, North Yorkshire.
The fourth man charged was a Nigerian, David Ogundipe, 45, from Lagos.
Customs officers are still questioning a Serb man in connection with the seizure.
