Crawley goalkeeper Andy Little wants to sharpen up his act and urges his team-mates to do the same as the Reds strive for Dr Martens and FA Cup success.

Little said: "We have had a reasonable start, we just need to find a bit more consistency. We are one of the top scorers in the league but are leaking a few too many as well.

"We need to cut out individual errors. Maybe one or two have been my fault but I hope to cut them out."

Little made an outstanding save from Fareham's Mark Patey in the second half of Tuesday's 4-0 FA Cup win to preserve a clean sheet and was pleased with the Reds' performance.

He said: "We could have gone in three or four up at half- time. They had a ten-minute spell when they put us under pressure but they didn't create much. In the second half I think our fitness told and we started to play some nice football."

Referring to his save, he added: "The lads told me it was going wide."

Little has been delighted with the contribution from new signing Warren Bagnall.

He said: "Warren got a bit of stick at the start of the season when he went three or four games without scoring, but he does so much work for us up front. It is a big plus for us and he's getting a few goals too."

Little has never been beyond the second qualifying round of the FA Cup before and is desperate to beat Weymouth in the third round next Saturday. He said: "I am always dreaming of a cup run. Weymouth have a good side but we can go there full of confidence. It is the FA Cup and we want to go as far as we can.

" If we get to the first round that would be brilliant. Beating Weymouth will be difficult, but the incentive of drawing a league club in the First Round is massive. If we did that we could fill the Broadfield Stadium."

Boss Billy Smith knows what to expect from Weymouth. He said: "They are in the same league as us and in round about the same position. We know all about them. It will be a hard competitive game, but I see no reason why we can't progress. If we play to our strengths we can win it."

Meanwhile, skipper Luke Anderson is pleased with the efforts of his team-mates at home.

Anderson said: "When we play properly I think we are a strong attacking side and we always create a lot of chances. The question mark remains whether we can be shrewd enough to make the most of the chances we create.

"I thought all our goals on Tuesday were excellent. To win 4-0 at is fantastic for the confidence."
