England have backed Sussex's James Kirtley as he prepares for more scrutiny in back-to-back one-day internationals against Zimbabwe today and tomorrow.
Fast bowler Kirtley has been named in the squad for the second in the five-match series today despite mounting pressure on him following match referee Colonel Naushad Ali's "concerns" about the legality of his action during England's opening five-wicket victory.
Coach Duncan Fletcher said: "He's got the full backing of the side. As far as they are concerned all this is just water off a duck's back, and the important thing is to go out there and make sure we beat Zimbabwe and go 2-0 up."
