Fears that Albion could be homeless again in two years have been dismissed by a Withdean Stadium supremo.
Martin Burholt says Combined Counties League club Withdean 2000 will not be playing at the Stadium instead of or in addition to the Seagulls.
A report in a non-league football paper claims Withdean have a draft contract with Brighton and Hove Council to move back to the ground in 2003, when Albion's agreement expires.
Burholt, senior contracts manager for Stadium bosses Ecovert, said: "I am aware they have been talking to the Council with a view to using the facility again, but that would be once Albion have moved on to their new stadium and no dates have been mentioned.
"Albion and Withdean 2000 will not be playing on the same pitch."
Withdean had to leave the Stadium after Albion moved in two years ago, because the pitch could not cope with the extra use.
The former Sussex County League club re-formed and they now have a one-year groundshare arrangement with Horsham for home matches in the Combined Counties League.
