East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service (known as WRAS) wishes to thank everyone who supported Lindy King, former veterinary nurse and rescuer, on her sponsored walk for wildlife from Hastings Pier to Brighton Pier which started yesterday and continues today, August 29.
East Sussex WRAS, a 24-hour service started 15 years ago by co-ordinator Trevor Weeks, is run by volunteers and supported entirely by fund-raising such as boot sales and sponsored walks.
It is a constant battle with rising veterinary, ambulance and rehabilitation costs.
Anyone wishing to support WRAS or interested in becoming a volunteer or fundraiser please phone Trevor Weeks on 07815 078234.
