Worthing are ready to send Damian Webber back into the heat of division one battle.

Webber will start tomorrow's testing clash away to Ford United if Simon James fails to recover from a knock.

Warren Smart comes into the running for a debut in midfield if Darren Baxter fails to recover from the toe injury which ruled him out of Tuesday's 2-0 defeat by Northwood.

Boss Sammy Donnelly admitted: "Maybe when we beat Harlow 6-1 last Saturday it warned other teams what we could do.

"We were poor in the first half on Tuesday. We gave away silly free-kicks in dangerous areas."

Tomorrow's match is being played at Dagenham and Redbridge while Ford's new ground at Barkingside is being completed.

Simon Funnell may miss Bognor's home game with Dulwich after receiving blows to both the neck and ankle on Tuesday.

Jamie Howell returns from a ban and Guy Rutherford is over his knee injury but boss Jack Pearce is keen to name an unchanged side.

Pearce said: "You can never predict results in this league but if we play like we did in our first two games we should be okay."

Horsham boss John Maggs is likely to give young striker Jamie Taylor his first start at home to Tilbury in division two.

Taylor scored as a substitute in midweek and could replace Jason Lillis, who has a twisted knee.

Maggs said: "He looked very lively in the week. I might just give him his chance."

Luke Gedling is also due for a recall in place of Gavin McGowan, who has a twisted ankle.

Mark McCallum makes his first appearance of the season for Lewes at Met Police tomorrow but the Rooks are still hampered by injuries.

Ryan Hackett is the latest casualty. He will be out for four to six weeks with an ankle injury sustained in Tuesday's draw at Leyton Pennant.

Paul Thomsett (hip), Chris Johnson (ankle) and Andy Johnson (suspended) will also be missing tomorrow while Marc Cable and Sam Francis may make their comebacks from injury in the reserves. Lee Newman could start tomorrow after three goals in two games as a substitute.
