I was very sorry to read about Josephine Tye and her problems gaining access to local shops (The Argus, August 8). There are many disabled people in the community and businesses should make provisions for these potential customers. How much new business would be created if all people could enter the shops? If all members of the community were catered for, this would greatly increase my daily trade.
