I have been dragging a laptop computer around Europe for years and have finally found a bag that does not cut my hand to ribbons and has a strap that sits firmly on my shoulder.

Even when my hands are full of tickets and luggage.

The Simply Portable Two bag has some of the best padding I have found in a computer bag - absolutely essential for crashing and bashing through the rush hour and jumping in and out of cabs.

The best bit is probably the price. At less than £40, it definitely won't break the bank.

Features include a nifty strap that allows you to hang the bag from the handle of your wheeled luggage, a big pouch pocket on the front and a good strong shoulder strap that has a peculiar feeling, rubbery non-slip pad that actually stops the strap slithering down your arm.

The easy-grip handle feels just like a foam rubber tube and stops the handle from cutting into your hand. This makes lugging the bag from car to plane a lot easier and virtually painless.

The real attraction of the Simply Portable Two is not the daft name but the sheer volume of stuff you can cram into it.

As a regular on-the-move computer user, I have accumulated a pile of cables, PC cards, charger leads and surge protection that all need a home. This bag really does the business for me and even has room for a fat paperback and a bottle of mineral water for the journey.

It can slide under an aircraft seat and weighs virtually nothing.
