Most design software falls down on the fine details but not this package. There are more options than you could realistically use to develop a thousand different houses. Integrated decks, vaulted ceilings, multi-level rooms and even definable sun location so you can see where the shadows will fall.

Textures can be put on surfaces to simulate wallpaper or carpet. Having played with the texture tool for a while I began to see why interior designers get paid a lot of money.

The user can record a walk-through of their dream house and see what the house would look like when finished, taking snapshots on the way which can be printed as aids to further design.

Electrical, plumbing and gas points are all available to the budding planner who can position them wherever they are needed.
