With regard to our own Cheekie Chappie, Max Miller, people have been searching for years for his best film, Educated Evans. There is a trailer about somewhere. The nationals all gave this film a wonderful write-up.
Max was a friend of mine for more than 28 years and the best I can do is show William Beaudine, Hollywood director, shooting a scene.
He directed Will Hay and W C Fields among others, mainly at Teddington studios. He was replaced by one Irving Asher.
God knows why Beaudine directed Educated Evans.
