While canvassing during the General Election, David Lepper assured me only "the cynics" and "the media" believed Labour was the same as the Tories.
We now hear of proposals to sell off Varndean playing fields for development.
Surely there can be few more discredited polices from the Thatcher era than the sale of school playing fields.
It is time for a firm lead from our local MP to show his support in the battle to save these sports fields.
