I am in complete agreement with Ben Nash's view (Letters, July 13) of the increase in pay to Brighton and Hove councillors: "Quite disgraceful."
However, we do have hard-working councillors doing their best for this fair city.
But I am afraid others are only here for the beer. Roll out the barrel.
