I have Crohn's disease, which, basically, means my digestive system does not work properly and I have very little warning when I need to go to the toilet - and I have to go quite often.

Am I the only person, therefore, who cannot enjoy the seafront, especially around the West Pier area, after 6pm when the council closes the few public toilets on the seafront?

I am lucky enough to own a Radar Key but the only disabled toilet in that area is inside the toilets under the bandstand, which are locked with the others.

I attended a big gathering on the seafront on a recent evening because a few of my friends were going travelling and it seemed the most sensible place to meet a lot of other people.

I had to leave when it was in full swing because all the toilets had been shut at 6pm and, as good as the hotels in that area are, one can only use their facilities so many times in a night.

Please, Brighton and Hove City Council, I am not the only person who needs to go after 6pm. I am having to miss out on summer on our beach.
