I suspect Sue Hodson (Opinion, July 10) of nit-picking about "Labour women" because she cannot find anything else wrong with my letter about the Bulger case.

I did not mean Labour women in general but the type I defined in a recent letter as seeming to think no one should ever be held responsible for anything.

There are plenty of them. I hoped this would be plain. In deference to Sue Hodson and anyone else who may misunderstand me I will in future write: "do-gooders and trendies et al". I dare not include "fellow travellers" in case I offend someone else.
