When Sony created the PlayStation it probably was not so people could fork out to play chess on their TV set.
Nonetheless, it was inevitable that such a game as Virtual Kasparov should appear and it is not bad at all.
The game itself is, of course, quite simple, so Titus have tried to make the package value for money by throwing in a video tutorial, an interview with Garry Kasparov and some biographies of the world's best players.
Best of all, the game allows players to take on Kasparov for a match.
Despite all the add-ons, computer chess games are always going to have a very limited appeal simply because buying a board is cheaper. Nonetheless, it is a fine way to brush up your game.
