I was alarmed to read that Labour wants to go down the nuclear road again.
Has the party learned nothing from Chernobyl? Are some of its big-business friends behind this move?
Serious government backing for a sensible mix of alternative energy and conservation measures would be a much better idea.
If there are any environmentalists left in the Labour Party, perhaps it's time they quit.
