I watched the recent television report on the Lewes floods in October.

Until the environment mob get their act together, it will happen again and again.

It was a disaster waiting to happen but of course the people steering the arrangements were not those who were going to suffer.

Let's deepen the river, pull down properties to allow extra water through Lewes.

But let's not actually spend any of the profits of the people responsible for getting rid of water who charge for the privilege of being flooded.

In Lewes, water was released and since then no work has been done to sort out the problem.

Has anyone thought of a tunnel to relieve the pressure of water? I doubt it because, of course, it would cost money.
